Taxes for Same Sex Married Couples
With news of same sex couples getting married in some states, and now they are eligible for tax breaks. I read an article from the Wall Street Journal that articulates this point.
"Married same-sex couples will be treated just like their heterosexual counterparts for federal tax purposes no matter where they eventually live, said federal officials detailing implications of a recent Supreme Court decision on gay marriage."
